COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A man who was found guilty of murder is facing life in prison after he was accused of killing a woman suspected of causing his uncle’s death.
Tyrone Martinez will learn his fate Friday after being found guilty of shooting Norma Salazar. Her body was found in her La Jara apartment last August.
Prosecutors say Martinez believed Salazar played a role in the drug overdose death of his uncle, David Espinoza, in 2010 and wanted revenge.
