The Regency Student Housing Community is adding five buildings to its student housing community at 3900 Elati St. in northwest Denver.
The Villas at Regency will include 120 units with 360 beds, increasing Regency’s capacity to 960 beds. They will be the first new buildings constructed since Central Street Capital Inc. purchased the property, a former hotel, in 2005, said Angelique Moyer, the company’s vice president of operations.
Residents of the Villas will have access to all Regency amenities, including fitness center and weight room; two indoor basketball and volleyball courts; full-service dining hall; convenience store; bowling alley and arcade; outdoor swimming pool; and big-screen amphitheater.
The Regency expects to break ground on the project by June 1 and deliver the units for the start of the 2013 fall semester. It will hold an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
