Two weeks after striker Kamani Hill joined the Rapids for a trial period, the team on Wednesday signed him to its roster. Hill arrives after the Rapids suddenly found themselves thin in the ranks.
A former VfL Wolfsburg player in the German Bundesliga and a twice-capped U.S. national player, Hill trained with the San Jose Earthquakes in 2010, after arriving there from Portuguese club Vitória de Guimarães. But he never caught on in northern California.
Mann leaves CSU men’s hoops program. Colorado State freshman guard Cody Mann is leaving the men’s basketball team to play closer to home in Miami. Mann, who played in 17 games this season, told The Coloradoan that coach Tim Miles’ departure for Nebraska was not a factor in his decision.
