already gives music fans many reasons to visit Lyons each summer, but today it sweetened the deal when it told Reverb about its Kinfolk Celebration, an Aug. 24-25 musical event with Colorado favorites and more to be announced.
The event, which will feature multiple YMSB sets, is the first of its kind since 2003.
“The Planet Bluegrass Ranch has become a home to Yonder Mountain,” said guitarist Adam Aijala in the press release. “Since our first play for RockyGrass in 1999, we have always enjoyed being both performers and fans of the PB music scene. Great scenery, great people, and great times.”
Given Planet Bluegrass’ recent surge in ticket sales, this has the makings of another sold-out event. Tickets and camping passes are on sale April 20 at 9 a.m. ($50-$130, )
