
The Center for ReSource Conservation’s Garden-in-a-Box program has been expanding every year, offering Coloradans pre-planned perennial gardens designed by the pros and packed with beautiful, water-wise species adapted to our capricous climate and challenging soils. Or rather, you can buy the (planter) boxes as well as the plants. Raise the Barr
Head to Barr Lake State Park in Brighton today for some outdoor family fun. A Geocaching program is offered at 10 a.m. There’s five geocaches hidden in various spots around the park. Members of the knowledgeable staff from the Butterfly Pavilion will share information about local butterflies at 11 a.m. and give step-by-step information to create your own butterfly garden.
