DENVER—The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for southern Colorado as a spring snowstorm rolled across the state.
Forecasters said Tuesday up to 16 inches of snow is expected in Trinidad and other communities along the southern Front Range. A winter weather advisory is in effect for south central Colorado, bringing up to up to 10 inches of total new snow.
Xcel Energy says more than 22,000 people are without power in the Denver metro area.
