American Airlines has canceled four of 16 flights scheduled today between Denver and Dallas due to storm damage Tuesday at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
The cancellations are part of more than 400 flights halted in and out of Dallas-Fort Worth that American and its regional partner American Eagle .
The Dallas area was raked by tornadoes and pummeled by hail reported as large as baseballs. Dallas Love Field, where Southwest Airlines is based, was spared damage.
