HARRISBURG, Pa.—A news executive from Colorado is being named as the new leader of several central Pennsylvania newspapers.

Digital First Media said Thursday that Sara Glines has been named publisher of the York Daily Record and York Sunday News.

She also will oversee the Lebanon Daily News, Hanover Evening Sun and Chambersburg Public ap, and she will serve as president of the York Newspaper Agency.

Glines has been a vice president at New York-based Digital First Media since it was formed last year to manage the ap Inc. and Journal Register Company. She has been vice president of field operations with the Denver-based ap since May 2010.

At the York newspapers, Glines will replace Fred Uffelman, who is retiring after 28 years.
