Two people were taken into custody on Tuesday night after investigators believe they were involved in at least five robberies or attempted robberies across the metro area.
Morrison Police say the spree ended just outside of their town around 9 p.m. at the intersection of C-470 and Morrison Road when the robbery suspects ran a red light and were involved in a T-bone accident.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Morrison Police believe the robbery spree began earlier on Tuesday with a robbery at a Dollar Tree in Golden. Businesses were also hit in Lakewood and Wheat Ridge, police said.
