DENVER—U.S. Rep. Mike Coffman is urging Congress to begin removing American troops from Europe.
The Aurora Republican and former Marine wants to remove all four Army brigade combat teams. That would affect about 80,000 military personnel, mostly in Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom.
According to the Denver Post ( ), Coffman will introduce his idea as an amendment to next year’s Defense Authorization Bill.
