A suspect has been arrested in connection with an Aurora shooting.
Malcolm Henderson, 19, is suspected of on Tuesday night, according to an Aurora Police Department media release.
Police announced Henderson’s arrest today and said they’re looking for a second suspect in the case.
Members of the department’s Gang Intervention Unit developed tips that lead to the arrest.
A man and a juvenile were injured when shots were fired just after 7 p.m. at 2095 S. Paris Way, police said.
The victims were taken to a local hospital and treated for injuries caused by shattered glass fragments. No one was directly hit by the gun fire.
Police said the adult victim was an intended target and the shooting followed a dispute on Monday. The juvenile was in another vehicle that was leaving the parking lot and was also hit by bullets. Police do not believe the juvenile knew the suspect.
Henderson is being held on suspicion of possession of a weapon by a previous offender, police said.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Det. Larry Martinez at 303 739-1985.
