COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Authorities are seeking an Air Force airman who escaped while being taken to jail.
Police say Senior Airman Herbert Mullens escaped while being taken to the Teller County Jail after attending a pretrial confinement hearing at Peterson Air Force Base.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), Mullens was confined pending charges of driving while intoxicated, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
