COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs Utilities is reviewing whether to appeal a judge’s ruling on a water project that would pump Arkansas River water from the Pueblo Dam to Colorado Springs.
A Pueblo County judge ruled last week that a key state certification for the Southern Delivery System pipeline needs more work. The ruling sends the matter back to state health officials for another review.
The Gazette reports the state certification is a prerequisite for a permit issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers needed for the project’s completion.
