BOULDER, Colo.—President Barack Obama will visit the University of Colorado in Boulder on Tuesday to talk about student loans as part of a three-state swing next week.
The event is free but tickets are required. Tickets will be given out to CU students and faculty first beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
The general public can get tickets on first-come, first-served basis starting at noon Monday at the Coors Event Center.
Obama also plans to visit universities in North Carolina and Iowa, which are also important general election battleground states.
Obama wants Congress to prevent interest rates on student loans from doubling. The interest rate for new subsidized Stafford loans will double in July unless Congress acts.
