Fire crews are cleaning up what is left of a large agriculture building, after several propane tanks exploded inside it this morning.
At 11:47 a.m., fire crews were called to a large agricultural building near Kersey, located at county roads 51 and 40, said Stephanie Cooke, spokeswoman for Platte Valley Fire Protection District.
A number of workers were welding inside the 30 by 50 foot building when the propane tanks ignited.
One of the workers was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle with what appear to be second-degree burns to the face and arm, Cooke said.
No other injuries were reported.
The building and three vehicles were completely destroyed.
