GEORGETOWN, Colo.—Loveland Ski Area’s season isn’t going to make it past May after all.
Loveland originally planned to end the season May 6, but it says warm temperatures and a lack of snow have prompted it to close one week early, on Sunday.
Breckenridge also plans to stop running its lifts Sunday, after starting them back up for some late-season skiing and riding this Friday through Sunday.
Arapahoe Basin has said it is tentatively aiming to stay open until early June.
