The Rams had the first pick of the draft’s second day, and in their search for targets for quarterback Sam Bradford, they selected Appalachian State wide receiver Brian Quick. St. Louis worked out A.J. Jenkins and Quick in recent days, and with Jenkins having been selected Thursday night by the 49ers, the Rams jumped quickly to get the second guy on their list.
