Weight: 125 pounds.

Age: 18.

Born: Feb. 24, 1994, in Belmont, Calif.

High school sports: Track and field (2011 Class 1A in 1,600 and 3,200 meters) and cross crountry (2011 2A third-place finisher).

Grade-point average: 4.2.

Class: Senior.

My favorite subject: I like all of them.

My favorite teams: Shining Mountain’s and Princeton’s cross country and track teams.

What I listen to: Friends’ music and Coldplay.

Best thing on my training table: Pasta.

Premeet ritual: I’m superstitious of negativity, and I have to have my spikes in my shoes the day before the race. It can’t be the same day.

Time-management tip: It’s hard work. You have to have balance.

Planned career: Considering pre-med and Spanish; will attend Princeton.

My family: Parents Joe and Robert, sisters Elizabeth and Virginia.

I would love to visit: New Zealand.

What high school sports mean to me: I really like the family environment that comes with the team and the ability to push yourself against the people you get to know over those four years.
