POP MUSIC:
The Fray returns to Red Rocks
Today-Saturday. Fans of Denver-boys-made-good the Fray will recall the pop-rockers’ trio of triumphant concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2007 — at least one of which ended in a downpour. The forecasts for tonight and Saturday’s sets, which are promoting this year’s Brendan O’Brien-produced “Scars & Stories” and warming up for the band’s midsummer tour with Kelly Clarkson, are similarly chilly and possibly wet. But Isaac Slade and his Grammy-nominated band are no doubt thrilled to be returning to the most prestigious of all Colorado stages, especially after dominating such diverse markets as New Orleans, Atlanta and New York City’s Radio City Music Hall in recent weeks. 7:30 p.m. tonight and Saturday at Red Rocks. $46.50-$56.50. 800-745-3000 or
