GOLDEN, Colo.—Here is a complete list of radio and television stations recognized with first- and second-place awards in the 2011 Colorado Associated Press Broadcasters Association Contest.
AP-member broadcasters in Illinois judged Colorado stations’ entries, which must have been broadcast between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2011. This year new categories were introduced for Best Reporter, Best Station Photojournalism, and Best Producer
Outstanding News Operation was also new for the 2011 contest. KMGH-TV and KMTS-FM take first place in their respective markets.
The awards were presented at a luncheon Saturday afternoon at The Golden Hotel in Golden, Colorado.
