GREELEY, Colo.—Jurors have convicted a Greeley woman of setting her rental home on fire while her teenage son was inside sleeping.

The Greeley Tribune reports ( ) jurors convicted Kendra Delsordo on Friday of first-degree arson and a misdemeanor count of reckless endangerment. They acquitted her of criminal mischief.

Investigators said Delsordo set fire to the home, likely before going to bed on Dec. 17, 2010. She and her son awoke later to a smoke-filled house. Both survived.

Court records show Delsordo’s criminal history includes convictions on false reporting and of killing her baby in 1992 in Washington. The Greeley Tribune reports that around the time of her baby’s death she was diagnosed with Munchausen syndrome by proxy, in which parents make their children sick, generally to attract attention to themselves.
