The Denver Police Department’s Vice Unit announced today that it conducted two reverse prostitution operations — “John Stings” — in the last week, arresting 29 people and seizing 23 vehicles.
All 29 were arrested for soliciting for prostitution or agreeing to an act of prostitution.
Also, the vice unit conducted multiple street-level prostitution operations and arrested six prostitutes.
The operations were conducted in North and West Denver, areas where police had received complaints about solicitation and prostitution.
