• The 2012 Colorado Golf Fundraising Tournament at the CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora raised more than $23,000 that will help fund several CGA initiatives aimed at disadvantaged kids in Colorado. Citywide Banks was the title sponsor, and the event was hosted by Colorado Golf Association.
• FoodWorks, a local food bank network, received a $10,000 general operating grant from the William G. McGowan Charitable Fund and $6,990 from the Weifield Group, an electrical contractor based in Denver.
• Comcast Foundation granted 57 Colorado students a total of $75,000 as part of the Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program.
