GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Grand Junction police have obtained an arrest warrant for a man in connection with a shooting at a motel.
Police said Tuesday that 26-year-old Joseph Martin Lara is wanted on suspicion of charges including attempted first-degree murder following the shooting Monday. The shooting at a room at the Affordable Inn that left a man with a gunshot wound to the stomach.
Police aren’t disclosing what led investigators to Lara, and court records in the case are sealed. His last known address was in Fruita.
