COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—Commerce City police confirm that remains found in a Denver-area landfill last week are those of a 7-month-old boy missing since March.
Police said Thursday that DNA testing confirms the remains are those of the son of 23-year-old Sharrieckia Page. After the boy disappeared, Page was charged with first-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death.
Officers started looking for Page’s son after a relative asked for a welfare check.
