DURANGO, Colo.—Crews in the air and on the ground are helping fight a wildfire at the base of Animas Mountain.
The Durango Herald reports ( ) the 2-acre fire was reported around 4:15 p.m. Friday on Bureau of Land Management land, west of Main Avenue.
No structures are immediately threatened.
