BOULDER, Colo.—Boulder officials want voters to expand the quarter of a percent sales tax for parks and recreation and allow them to spend it on other projects.

They also want to continue collecting the tax, which expires in 2015.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera ( ), City Manager Jane Brautigam says the money would still be spent on parks and recreation, but city officials want more certainty for long-range planning on other projects.
