DENVER—Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler is still fighting with Denver election officials over mail ballots to inactive voters.

Late last week, Gessler’s office proposed a new rule that says clerks may not mail ballots to inactive voters in an election held with another political entity, which could affect November’s presidential election.

According to the Denver Post ( ), Denver officials believe they have the right to mail ballots to inactive voters and they are waiting until later this year to make a decision.
