DENVER—Gov. John Hickenlooper is ordering funding to fight three Colorado wildfires, including the High Park fire that has burned more than 100 square miles west of Fort Collins.

Hickenlooper announced three executive orders Friday declaring the three areas a disaster and allocating money for firefighting efforts. The High Park fire will get $5 million under the order. That’s in addition to a previous order that authorized $20 million in aid.

The Springer fire in Park County is getting $1 million and the Stuart Hole fire in Larimer County will receive $200,000

Hickenlooper’s office says the High Park fire qualifies for 75 percent federal reimbursement for firefighting costs.
