LOVELAND, Colo.—Two people are dead and another is safe after three people were pulled from a Loveland pond after witnesses reported hearing screams Thursday night.
The Larimer County Coroner said Friday two people drowned in a boating accident. A third person was later found safe and brought to shore by a boat.
The Loveland and Berthoud fire departments sent dive rescue teams to the pond about 9:30 p.m. after receiving a report of missing persons. A 911 caller reported hearing a child screaming for help.
