There are voluntary fishing closures for the Yampa River (Chuck Lewis State Wildlife Area downstream through Steamboat Springs), White River (anglers are asked to fish only during cool morning hours), and Bear Creek (Jefferson County, upstream from Bear Creek Reservoir), according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Biologists are monitoring other waters to determine if there needs to be more restrictions in the coming weeks. Colorado Division of Wildlife
