EDWARDS — The body of 41-year-old Robert Greenbury, of Avon, was discovered Saturday morning in the Eagle River just east of Arrowhead, police said Tuesday. Greenbury was found to be unresponsive to emergency responders. Greenbury is presumed to have drowned, although final autopsy results are still pending, according to police. The preliminary investigation shows no signs of foul play.
Greenbury was dead when he was found, said Bill Kaufman with the Eagle County Sheriff’s office.
Greenbury’s body was discovered by bicyclists riding on the bike path through the area.
