The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s return to Denver in August will include some Colorado flavor. UFC 150, scheduled for Aug. 11 at Pepsi Center, added to its card middleweights Ed Herman of Fort Collins and Chris Camozzi of Lakewood, the UFC said.
Herman (20-7) will fight former Strikeforce champ Jake Shields (27-6-1). Herman is 3-0 since returning last year after a knee injury he suffered in a 2009 fight.
Camozzi (17-5), winner of his past two fights, will take on Albuquerque’s Buddy Roberts (1-0).
The main event pits lightweight champ Benson Henderson (15-2) against former champ Frankie Edgar (14-2-1) in a rematch.
