Thursday marks the first day of and a whole new chapter for Coldplay.
The band is planning to debut the first of a six-part comic series, which tells the story behind its newest album, “Mylo Xyloto.”
“Kung Fu Panda” director Mark Osborne worked with Coldplay band members to write a story about Mylo, who is on the front lines of a .
The first comic will be unveiled during a panel on Friday. (No members of the band are participating, just the product team).The monthly starting in February 2013.
A stated that the group had the idea three years ago for a character named Mylo Xyloto — “xylo” as in “xylophone,” “to” as in “toe.”
There is also talk to developing a feature film based on the comic, . The series will be published by Matt Groening’s .-Kelsey Fowler
