DENVER—Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams failed a second performance-enhancing drug test after he failed his first test, according to reports filed in his lawsuit against the National Football League.
According to the Denver Post (), court records also allege that Williams dropped a bottle from his waist area while he was providing a urine sample for a third test.
Williams is facing a six-game suspension for his first failed performance-enhancing drug test. Williams contends the league violated protocol in collecting urine samples.
Last month, a federal judge dismissed a bid by Williams to overturn the suspension.
