STERLING, Colo.—The newly appointed Parks and Wildlife Commission is electing new officers.
The meeting that begins Thursday in Sterling is the first meeting of the new 11-member Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission, which was established by the Colorado Legislature.
Under the new law, three members must be sportsmen or sportswomen, three are agricultural producers, three are recreation representatives and two are at-large members.
A minimum of four commissioners must be from west of the Continental Divide.
