COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Volunteers are helping victims of a Colorado Springs wildfire sift through debris for their family treasures.
On Sunday, they worked at a cul-de-sac where all 13 homes burned to the ground.
According to the Colorado Springs Gazette (), crews have found jewelry, china and a metal cross.
The 29-square-mile Waldo Canyon wildfire was reported June 23. The fire killed two people and destroyed nearly 350 homes, making it the most destructive in state history.
