Aurora police have interviewed an associate of suspected theater shooter James Eagan Holmes but say they don’t believe he was involved in the rampage.
In a statement Saturday night, Aurora Police Department spokeswoman Cassidee Carlson discounted “multiple unconfirmed and inaccurate news reports about a second suspect.”
“An associate of Holmes was interviewed this evening. There is no reason to believe that he is involved.”
