DENVER—A cyclist has died after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver who fled with the damaged bicycle.
Denver police say 30-year-old Dan Peterson was out riding early Sunday when he was hit.
According to KMGH-TV ( ), the bicycle was dragged away from the scene by someone driving a green or dark colored Subaru hatchback after the accident. The bicycle has not been found.
