Leadville Boom Days fun
The Leadville Boom Days celebration will take place Friday-Aug. 5. The weekend begins Friday night with a mini-parade and motorcycle rodeo, and continues for the next three days with contests of individual mining skill, the Annual Gun Show sponsored by the Leadville Rod & Gun Club, the annual softball tournament and a street fair featuring vendors including artisans and food.
Music, arts and crafts in Florence
The Florence Americana Music and Art Festival will take place Friday-Aug. 5. Combining live music, performing arts and visual arts, this festival will exhibit more than 20 musicians on two stages and 100 arts and crafts vendors.
Bronc Day Fest parade and games
The 74th annual Bronc Day Festival will take place in Green Mountain Falls on Saturday. There will be a parade, races, live entertainment, games for the entire family, vendors, and more.
Frisco art fest
The 6th Annual Main Street to the Rockies Art Festival will take place in Frisco Aug. 11-12. Main Street through downtown will be closed to traffic, transforming the area into an outdoor art gallery with a wide variety of original works on display. Admission is free and open to the public.
