The 13th annual Rocky Mountain Tea Festival is Saturday and Sunday at the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse. Workshops, seminars, booths, a bazaar, an exhibit, children’s tea parties, demonstrations and a tea dinner are included. Hours are noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Aurora’s Power of One
“Protecting Our Skies: A History of Lowry & Buckley”is the title of an exhibit on display through Aug. 19 that traces Illustrated panels showcase the historic roles that Lowry and Buckley training centers have played. The show is held in connection with the Aurora History Museum and Aurora Public Library’s Power of One programming focusing this year on “Living in Aurora, Serving Around the World” in honor of local military personnel and their families. The Rocky Mountain Antiquarian Booksellers Association (RMABA) presents the 28th annual Rocky Mountain Book & Paper Fair, 5-9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Denver Merchandise Mart. Attendees will also find vintage postcards, maps, travel brochures, posters and more. Activities offered in connection to this year’s theme, “Books into Film,” are also scheduled. Heritage Auctions will offer “fair market evaluations of rare books and manuscripts” from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 4. Admission is $10 Friday (includes admission Aug. 4) and $5 Aug. 4.
