Getting your player ready...
An early morning water pipe break in Denver will slow down morning traffic for some commuters.
A 12-inch water main broke at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday at East 8th Avenue and Pennsylvania Street, according to Denver Water.
All lanes of 8th Avenue will shut down through the morning as crews work on the repair.
The work should be done by Thursday afternoon.
Detours are in place and drivers should avoid the area Thursday if possible.
Two nearby office buildings will be without water until the main goes back on line.
