GREELEY, Colo.—A man from Hereford has been convicted of beating the person who killed his father.

Absalom Pino was convicted by a Weld County jury on Thursday on charges of burglary, assault and obstruction of a police officer.

According to the Greeley Tribune ( ), Pino’s father, Larry Pino, died in 2011 after being struck in the head with a rock during an altercation in Greeley with Dominick Ramirez.

Ramirez was convicted of manslaughter on June 7 and is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 8.
