FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The rush is on to move boats after the water level in Horsetooth Reservoir dropped 42 feet and continues to drop as water providers cope with a severe drought.

The Northern Water Conservancy District says much of the water is being routed to help farmers irrigate.

According to KUSA-TV ( ), about 200 boats have been removed so far, with 100 to go.
