A dinner guest molested the host’s 4-year-old child, according to the Eagle County Sheriff’s Department.
Ismael Lopez-Alvarez, 24, of Edwards was being held in the Eagle County Detention Facility Thursday. Court records indicate he is being held on $15,000 bond on the felony charge of sexual assault on a child and a misdemeanor charge of sexual contact without consent.
Court records indicate the office happened at the victim’s home on July 7.
The Sheriff’s Department said Alvarez is in country illegally, so the federal Immigration Customs Enforcement has asked that he be detained.
