An 18-year-old man struck by an SUV early Saturday while walking along a road in Keenesburg was literally knocked out of his shoes and tossed into a ditch, Weld County sheriff’s deputies said.
The unidentified man is hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following the 3:25 a.m. incident along Highway 2. The driver of the SUV did not stop and is still being sought by police.
