Evergreen-based Boyd Group International has been retained by Ryan International Airlines to lead in the charter airline’s restructuring.
The restructuring will be spearheaded by Jeff Potter, president and chief executive of Boyd.
Ryan, based in Rockford, Ill., is an airline charter company that flies commercial passengers in addition to flights for the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Marshals Service.
It has a diverse fleet of aircraft and has more than 450 employees.
At one time, Potter served as president and chief executive of Frontier Holdings, Inc. the parent of Frontier Airlines.
“On behalf of Boyd Group International, I am pleased to be joining the Ryan International Airlines’ team as we navigate our way through the current challenges facing the company,” said Potter. “The company’s employees have demonstrated their commitment to the success of the company through their unwavering dedication and professionalism throughout the company’s history.”
Mark Robinson, a director of Ryan, said Boyd Group International and Potter bring a wealth of experience which will expedite “Ryan’s process of redefinition in the face of declining military flying opportunities.”
