Fallene Wells is never far from where fashion is happening in Denver, whether she’s organizing a group show, creating hairstyles at Voila Salon, or as she’s been doing a lot of lately, working on her own line. Wells raised money in a recent Kickstarter campaign and has been desiging and sewing her Modern Nouveau Fall Friperie collection for the past few months. She’ll be showing the 1920s-inspired line and selling looks from it Aug. 24 at Walker Fine Art Gallery. Also that evening, guests can shop at the pop-up store Swank, featuring accessories from local designers. Music will be by DJ Matthew Brown. Tickets, $35 per person, are available at .
