Clymer, a general contractor out of Briggsdale, watches daily as the once-pastoral settings of the northern Weld prairie give way to scenes out of an industrial boon, clanging and clamoring upon small-town, cricket-chirping, back-fence chatting lifestyles.
In an area where local government, mineral rights owners and the newly employed enjoy the benefits of big oil, the industry’s PR problem persists as some residents tire of the noise, dust, and property damage.
