COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—The Colorado Rapids have signed midfielder Hendry Thomas, who formerly played for Wigan Athletic in the English Premier League.
Rapids technical director Paul Bravo said Tuesday that Thomas has a vast amount of experience for somebody just 27 years old.
Thomas is a native of La Ceiba, Honduras, and played for Honduras at the 2010 World Cup and 2008 Olympics.
